Noisebox helped Teachers Health elevate its boardroom with a Crestron Automate VX multi-camera solution designed to make hybrid conversations clearer, more inclusive and easier to follow.
The brief
The boardroom remains one of the most important spaces for collaboration in any organisation. For Teachers Health, the goal was to create a room that could support the way executive conversations now happen: with some people seated around the table and others joining remotely.
The experience needed to feel consistent for everyone. Remote participants had to be able to see who was speaking, follow the flow of the discussion, and stay attuned to the non-verbal cues that shape a productive meeting. At the same time, the technology needed to work without distracting people in the room.
The solution
Noisebox delivered an intelligent multi-camera solution built using Crestron Automate VX.
Using input from the room’s microphone system, Automate VX can direct and switch between cameras according to meeting activity. Rather than relying on a single wide shot, the system is designed to present more useful views of the conversation and keep the active speaker in frame.
For participants, that means a meeting experience that feels more natural. For the organisation, it means advanced video capabilities that operate in the background, supporting the room without requiring users to become camera operators.
Final testing validates the real meeting experience for people in the room and joining remotely.
From installation to final testing
Delivering intelligent video is about more than installing cameras. Their position, coverage and relationship with the room’s audio system all influence the experience.
During final testing, the Noisebox team worked through real meeting scenarios to validate camera coverage and refine system behaviour. This stage helped ensure that transitions supported the natural rhythm of conversation and that the completed solution performed as intended throughout the boardroom.

A flexible space beyond the boardroom
The project also considered how the boardroom works with the adjacent Wollemi space. A divisible wall allows the two areas to operate independently or as a larger combined environment, adding another layer of complexity to the AV design.
Voice lift forms an important part of that experience. By using the room’s microphone system together with additional loudspeakers, speech can be reinforced naturally throughout the space, helping people at different positions around the room hear one another clearly without the technology becoming the focus.
Designing for both divided and combined room configurations means the AV system needs to respond to how the space is actually being used. The result is a more flexible collaboration environment that can support everyday meetings as well as larger discussions across the connected spaces.
The outcome
The upgraded boardroom gives Teachers Health a stronger foundation for hybrid collaboration. Remote participants can receive a clearer view of the discussion, while people in the room can focus on the meeting rather than the technology.
It is a considered response to the unified communications world: combining intelligent automation with thoughtful room design to make distance less noticeable and participation more natural.
